George
Performs Live On Idol Finale!
Just before the
announcement of this year's winner, American Idol's 12
finalists performed a medley of George's hits including "Faith,"
"Father Figure" and "Freedom '90." George,
himself, then took center stage where he performed his #1 hit
single, "Praying For Time," which was the lead single
from his platinum-selling album, Listen Without Prejudice,
vol. 1.
George was in perfect form, looking dashing under the spotlight,
and, of course, his vocals were as smooth as we all expect. He
captivated the entire audience, and judge Paula Abdul was moved
to tears.
At the conclusion of his performance, host Ryan Seacrest greeted
George, who confirmed that his North American tour kicks off in
San Diego [on June 17th]!
