George Michael, who
recently called an end to his recording career, has topped the
album charts with Patience.
Earlier this month, the
star announced he would never make another album for sale in
record shops because he neither needs the cash nor wants the
attention.
The 40-year-old singer,
who knocked Katie Melua off the top spot, plans to release
future tracks online.
Guns N' Roses' Greatest
Hits joined the album charts at number two, while R&B star
Usher topped the singles charts. |
