George Michael has added a second Wembley Stadium date to his summer tour.

The former Wham! star will be the first performer to play at the new London stadium on 9 and 10 June.

Tickets for the 9 June show went on sale on Thursday and some are now being advertised on the online auction site eBay for £300.

The tour begins in Denmark on 18 May. He will also appear in Glasgow, Manchester, Plymouth and Norwich.

Stadium delay

The pop star will also visit France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Holland and Hungary as part of the 26 Live Stadium Tour.

A series of hold-ups has led to the opening of the £757m Wembley venue bring delayed.

The 43-year-old played several key gigs at the old Wembley stadium, including Live Aid in 1985 and Wham's farewell concert in 1986 with ex-bandmate Andrew Ridgeley.

Michael is currently facing a drugs trial after being charged with being unfit to drive through drugs and cautioned for cannabis possession.

During a hearing at Brent Magistrates' Court on Wednesday the prosecution also added a indictment of being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drugs.

A trial is expected in May or June.
