SINATRA - SINATRA'S LETTER UP FOR AUCTION
A letter written by FRANK
SINATRA criticising fellow singer GEORGE MICHAEL's opposition to
fame is to be sold at auction. The original copy of an open
letter to the pop star - first published by a Los Angeles
newspaper in September 1990 - will go under the hammer in L.A.
next Sunday (09Dec07) and is expected to make $600 (GBP300).
He wrote: "Come on
George, loosen up. Swing, man, dust off those gossamer wings and
fly to the moon of your choice. "The tragedy of fame is
when no one shows up and you're singing to the cleaning
lady." |
