George Michael cancels concert in Prague

Prague- British pop singer George Michael will not sing in Prague today as his concert was cancelled, organisers' spokesman Petr Novak told.

The performance planned for the Prague T-Mobile Arena was cancelled due to a serious accident of a lorry with his equipment on the road from Bucharest to Prague, Novak said.

Novak said that the concert would probably be held at an alternative date.

"George Michael, who came to Prague along with his team last night, is deeply sad and apologises to all his fans," Novak said.

The new date will be looked for in the days to come. It may be held at the end of Michael's summer concert tour, he added.
