George gets a steer from Geri...
GERI Halliwell spiced up George Michael’s 44th birthday bash by giving him a sexy chauffeur to unwrap as a present.
The ex-Wham! groover is currently banned from driving after he was found slumped at the wheel of his car.
So Geri, 34, searched for a chauffeur who was easy on both the eye and the road and has paid for him to drive George for the next 12 months.
And the carrot-topped cutie even persuaded the living gift to get inside a box decorated in satin paper and tied with a huge red ribbon, so George could open it during his star-studded party at London’s swish Berkeley Hotel.
Our Careless Whisperer said: “George is so difficult to buy for. He has everything he needs.
“But he’s one of Geri’s best friends, so she wanted to get him something really special.
“And the sexy chauffeur fitted the bill perfectly. She personally interviewed him and is happy that he will be a good companion for George as well as
providing a valuable driving service.
“And obviously it helps that he’s nice to look at as well.” Geri stole the show with her thigh-skimming frock and original present.
And she took the lucky driver around the knees-up to be air-kissed by the 110 guests, including Elle Macpherson, Matt Lucas, 33, David Walliams, 35, Stephen Fry, 49, and Tracey Emin, 43.
The lucky driver got to know George and partner Kenny Goss, 48, during the £125-a-head bash.
Our spy added: “He can’t believe his luck landing a job like this.
“He really hopes he will be able to enjoy other jaw-dropping parties like this in the future.”

Geri Halliwell put some spice into George Michael's 44th birthday bash – she gave him a sexy chauffeur as a present.
The ex-Wham! frontman is currently banned from getting behind a steering wheel, so Geri's driver will ferry him around town for the next 12 months.
Generous Ginger, 34, even persuaded the guy to get inside a decorated gift box, tied with a huge red ribbon, so George could open it.
'The sexy chauffeur fitted the bill perfectly,' a source tells The Daily Star. 'She personally interviewed him and is happy that he will be a good companion for George as well as providing a valuable driving service.'
